This Session deals with basic principles of supervision including: confrontation techniques, dealing with absenteeism, patterns of difficult staff, and strategies for managing conflict with problem employees. The 80/20 principle will be introduced. Additional topics will include acceptable causes for discipline and termination, developing a discipline action plan and termination strategies. Mr. Smith will also share a concept he calls “Mutual Resignation”.
